It's not often that I completely ravage a movie. Usually I can find some redeeming factor to offset the negative remarks I may have for a movie. The Eagle is the one rare case that I cannot find anything positive to say. The acting is horrendous. The inconsistent accents are annoying. And, Channing Tatum needs to be barred from ever making another Hollywood movie. This man cannot act even with the ten or so lines he was given here. He's like a wooden stump with a voice. Also, I want an explanation of why Donald Sutherland was used in this atrocious attempt at cashing in on this genre. Seriously, do not waste your time or money on this garbage. If you're in the mood for a quality film, watch Braveheart again.
