Michael Bay's finest work, The Island, was finally released to the Blu Ray format this past week. It's a good film that never wanders far from it's roots. Yes, it's extremely derivative of his influences but still maintains it's own original sci-fi arc. An excellent cast and some breathtaking action sequences make The Island a definite watch in this format, and a great addition to your collection. I would highly suggest purchasing this one.
