Super is an unfortunate mess of a movie that wastes the talents of Wilson, Tyler, and Page. It's just another bizarre attempt at creating a real world super hero with absolutely no super powers. It fails, big time.
The acting is bland. The writing is not funny. The story is rather tired.
This film tries so hard to be humorous and fails at every turn. So, sheer brutality is used as a type of relief from a story that's non-existent. We've all seen this tale time and time again. How it ever got financed, I do not know.
Now, go watch Kick Ass again. It's so much better.
