Several sites are reporting that veteran Spiderman helmer, Sam Raimi, is back on track with not only an Ash-less remake of Evil Dead but is reportedly back on to produce and direct Evil Dead IV starring none other than the man, Bruce Campbell. Rumors are also afloat that another company was trying to produce a sequel and only then did Raimi decide he wanted his prized franchise all for himself. I guess we'll have to wait and see. This is something that's been kicked around more than a bucket.
I'm a huge fan of this franchise and would love to see a return to the Ash character and his never ending battle with the dead.
