Besides Seyfreid's natural beauty and proven gift for acting, there is no redeeming quality to Gone. It's a further testament to the dead genre of the American thriller. It's really sad because I thought Seyfreid might have a sleeper hit on her hands. Unfortunately for her, this is just another sad entry in a series of box office flops for the young actress.
