Gone is just typical thriller fare that barely excites with it's nonsensical plot and super thin character development. This is a movie we've all seen time and time again and truly never wish to see again. I'm not really sure why these movies keep getting made. It had nothing new to add to the Kiss The Girls genre of modern "girl in trouble" movies.
Besides Seyfreid's natural beauty and proven gift for acting, there is no redeeming quality to Gone. It's a further testament to the dead genre of the American thriller. It's really sad because I thought Seyfreid might have a sleeper hit on her hands. Unfortunately for her, this is just another sad entry in a series of box office flops for the young actress.
