Who in the hell would see a sequel to Dumb and Dumber without Jim Carrey in it? No one! That's who.
So, it looks like Jim Carrey is a little fed up with the way New Line and Warner Bros. have been handling the Dumber sequel and bounced. Some might argue this is a case of "I'm rich and I can do what I want," but I'm willing to bet it's just that the studios can't get their act together and blew it with a talented actor who will guarantee them boat loads of cash sailing in.
Now it looks like they're guaranteed to lose one of their biggest money magnets they had in the cards. I hope as hard as one can that they do whatever it is they need to do to get Carrey back on at whatever cost because a new casting or a Dumb and Dumber 2 sans Jim Carrey are both long deep pipes for the studios to flush their money down.
