How many franchises can be given to one actor? I just can't believe it, but Ryan Reynolds has officially signed to take over the role of Connor Macleod in the upcoming Highlander remake.

As a loyal fan of the original Christopher Lambert vehicle, I'm not really sure I'm impressed with the casting choice. However, I think a reboot may be in order after all the terrible sequels and spin offs we were given with the Highlander brand.
