Rest in Peace - James Gandolfini

I was first introduced to James Gandolfini with his appearance as stone cold Virgil in True Romance. His time on screen was short but he left an impression that stayed with me for years. Any time he would take on a new role, I would always find ways to connect his characters back to Virgil in some way. Even though it wasn't his first appearance on screen, I always felt that role defined his illustrious career in both tv and film.

The man came and went without ever selling himself short. He was an artist in the truest sense of the word. He could take on a role and become the character with absolute dedication to his craft, never hesitating to push his own boundaries as an actor. James Gandolfini was not just an actor, he is an icon gone too soon.

To say we are saddened by his death would be a vast understatement.
