Star Wars continues to infiltrate movie news with some details about the upcoming Rogue One spin off.
This last few days have been a wet dream for Star Wars fans across the universe. From the amazing The Force Awakens trailer to the Battlefront preview, everyone is getting geared up for a year chock full of that galaxy far, far away. With that said, things are beginning to leak about the upcoming Rogue One movie. Here's what we've heard so far.
Felicity Jones will be playing one of the main rebels in the movie. The story will be centered on a group of rogue pilots that will be trying to steal the plans for the Death Star. Therefore, the movie will take place between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope. Gareth Edwards is set to helm as director. And production is set to begin as early as summer 2015.
Let's hope they get this right. It would be cool to see Felicity play the central protagonist in this as we've never been given a female X-Wing pilot. As the months roll on, we're sure to get more and more details. No matter what, it's nice to see that Star Wars is alive and well with people that care about the property.
