The last year has seen a dramatic increase in great independent science fiction releases. Next up for the genre is Rogue Warrior: Robot Fighter, a film that's set in the distant future depicting the overthrow of humankind by artificial intelligence on Earth and on other far off worlds. This anxiously awaited independent science fiction saga starring Tracy Birdsall is set to premiere at AOF on September 2nd. It will be the opening film at the Action On Film festival, which happens to be one of the top indie action fests worldwide. This will mark the world premiere of the film and will be attended by the director Johnson and Birdsall herself.
The film has already been nominated for 8 awards all in the action and science fiction categories.
