The Magnificent Seven beats up some birds and airplanes to reach the top of the weekend box office.
The weekend box office numbers are in and The Magnificent Seven ends up the victor. The remake earned an estimated $35 million and bettered the other new release in the animated film Storks, which earned an estimated $21.8 million. Sully dropped to number three with $13.8 and a total of $92.4 million. Rounding out the top five are Bridget Jones's Baby at $4.5 and Snowden at $4.1. Blair Witch continued to disappoint, dropping from number two last week to number six this week with $3.95.
