With the season 2 premiere of Supergirl fast approaching along with her anticipated team up with Superman, the question of an eventual Batman appearance has been brought up. With several Easter eggs mentioning Gotham City, TV Line asked executive producer Ali Adler if viewers may see an actual actor portraying Batman in the series. Adler said that:

"I feel like we have our hands full with the [Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow] crossover we’re shooting right now. I think people will be satisfied with how much crossover they’re getting this season. We have this beautiful history with DC, and I like that we get to borrow from this amazing, wonderful canon that we have.”

The new season will start on Monday October 10th on The CW.

Comicbook.com conducted an interview with Gotham's Jessica Lucas and asked her whether viewers could expect to see her don the Tigress outfit at some point this season. Lucas said:

"Of course, yeah. I'm hoping for that eventually. Right now we're still focused on building up who Tabitha Galavan is and establishing more of that. Eventually I think the plan is to turn her into Tigress. I don't know what the writers have in store or when that's going to happen, but I hope it happens. That would be awesome."

The next episode will air October 10th on FOX.
