Joseph Gordon-Levitt will star in the sci-fi thriller Sovereign.
It was just announced by THR that Gorodon-Levitt's next film will be the sci-fi thriller Sovereign. He will reportedly be playing a man "who travels up to a space station to find his estranged wife and the crew of the station, all of whom have gone missing." Not much else is known about the plot other than that.
It is being produced by Shawn Levy (Stranger Things) and is being directed by Marc Munden, who is mostly known for his television work and has received seven BAFTA nominations. The script was written by Jack Thorne, a British screenwriter who has been involved in the This is England television series and is also attached to The Sandman film production.
