Images: Marvel Comics Draws From Nas, Dr. Dre, Missy Elliott For Hip-Hop Variants Covers

Check out these upcoming Marvel variant covers that are inspired by various hip-hop album covers.

These variant covers will be appearing on several Marvel Comics issues in November, each inspired by the images that were on several popular albums that include hip-hop legends Nas, Dr. Dre, and Missy Elliot.

Marvel has done this before and up to this point have released fifty variant covers paying tribute to various iconic records. The new images include an illustration of Riri Williams by Adi Granov in a similar pose to Missy Elliot's cover for Under Construction. Sam Spratt's version of Spider-man recreates the cover of Nas' album Life is Good.

The African country of Wakanda is featured in a depiction of Dr. Dre's album Compton, created by Alitha E. Martinez and Rachelle Rosenberg. EPMD's album Back in Business is reimagined as a cover for Iron Fists by David Williams and Carlos Cabrera. Finally, Bill Sienkiewicz recreated a Prodigy and Alchemist album for the cover of Venom #1. Check out the images below.
