Rumors have surfaced to suggest that Chris Pratt and his character Star-Lord will have a significant role in the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film Avengers: Infinity War.
It had already been confirmed earlier in the year by Vin Diesel that the Guardians of the Galaxy would appear in the upcoming Avengers film, although it wasn't revealed as to how involved that they would be. Schmoes Know believes that they have obtained some information about Star-Lord's involvement and that he will be the first member of the group to appear in the movie and will also be a "major player" throughout the motion picture.
This shouldn't come as too big of a surprise because the character and Pratt have become immensely popular and he is the perfect counterpart to riff off of Tony Stark and the other characters. As these upcoming Avengers films are meant to be a sort of culmination of everything that has been leading up to this, Doctor Strange has been confirmed and we can only assume that almost every major Marvel character will somehow be involved.
Schmoes Knows also revealed that the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Thor: Ragnarok will allegedly feature a group of aliens that are called The Elders of the Universe, which counts The Collector as one of its members. They are described as four ancient beings that oversee the universe.
In other MCU news, it is believed that a TV spot for Doctor Strange has confirmed that Doctor Strange wields the Time Stone. This is one of two gems which have yet to be revealed in any of the movies.
