It will continue stories involving The Shield and The New Day that began in the one-shot issue that was previously released. The stories were written by Dennis Hopeless and Ross Thibodeaux, illustrated by Rob Guillory and Serg Acuna, and cover art from Adam Riches, Brent Schoonover, Dan Mora, Jamal Campbell, Oliver Barrett, Rob Guillory, and Scott Newman.
