Fans of the Wachowskis and their fantastical series Sense8 waited months for the announcement that there would indeed be a second season. After initially airing, the show seemed to be in flux but steadily built up a strong foundation of loyal fans. Tonight, word comes down that Netflix is not only producing a season 2 but is releasing a Sense8 Christmas Special. I don't think anyone was really expecting that.
Sense8: A Christmas Special is set to air on Netflix on December 23rd with the second full season hitting their streaming service on May 5, 2017. This comes almost exactly two years after the premiere of the first season and will be a limited run of ten episodes. We at The Movie Sleuth cannot wait.
