Well DC has finally decided that there will be a Green Lantern film, apparently with the working title of Green Lantern Corps.
The primary characters that will be involved are Hal Jordan and John Stewart, with what is being described as a "Lethal Weapon in space" story. Deadline had previously reported that the creative team will consist of David Goyer and Justin Rhodes as screenwriters, with Goyer serving as a producer. Not much of a surprise with Goyer, seeing as he worked with Christopher Nolan on Batman Begins and also wrote Man of Steel and Batman v Superman. No word on if Ryan Reynolds will be involved, but would he really want to? Another question is whether he is contractually obligated for another film? That would suck.
