The new horror film earned an estimated $30.5 million in its first weekend. The LEGO Batman Movie finished second with an estimated $19 million, with John Wick: Chapter 2 finishing in third place with an estimated $9 million. Get Out's positive critical reviews and 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes helped power its opening weekend, with it easily earning back its modest budget of $4.5 million. Even though Logan will be debuting next weekend, Get Out should have a successful second weekend.
