Its finally official, Arrival director Denis Villeneuve is directing the Dune movie reboot for Legendary Pictures.

Villeneuve has been riding a wave of success with Prisoners, Sicario, the Oscar-nominated Arrival, and the anticipated release of Blade Runner 2049. He was pretty much courted for Dune as soon as he expressed interest in it, previously talking about wanting to make a new version of the property.
