News: Sophie Turner Talks New X-Men Movie And Game Of Thrones Season Seven

Sophie Turner provided information on X-Men and Game of Thrones while on the red carpet at the 70th British Academy Film Awards last night.

She told Hey U Guys that: “We’re about to start shooting the next X-Men. We’ve just finished shooting Season 7 of [Game of] Thrones, and I’ve got a couple of movies to do before X-Men starts. And then we go on to Season 8.”

This seems to confirm the rumor that the next X-Men movie will begin shooting in May, which has been operating under the titles of X-Men: Supernova and X-Men: Dark Phoenix. These titles suggest that the story could be an adaptation of "The Dark Phoenix Saga." Not much else is known about the film except that there is officially no director at this time and that it will shoot in Montreal at the same studio and at the same time that The New Mutants.

The quote above may also have revealed a possible major spoiler for Game of Thrones. Turner confirms that she will be returning for season 8, which would indicate that her character Sansa will survive season 7. Does that possibly indicate impending doom for one of the other remaining Stark children or Littlefinger? Only time will tell, but the dark turn of the Sansa at the end of season six could spell trouble for someone in season seven.
