With the DC cinematic universe struggling to maintain a solid foothold over the commercial successes of Marvel and their strict formula, Man of Steel is ramping up. Apparently, Zack Snyder is too busy with Justice League and will not be helming the next Superman theatrical release. Some fans will rejoice in that fact and others may not. Either way, we know that Supes will be making another solo effort after Justice League and a new director is currently being sought after to take over the franchise.
Early reports are stating that Matthew Vaughn (Kick Ass) is being seriously considered to take over for Snyder. Personally, I think he'd be a great choice as the man knows how to make a great comic book film. With such successes as X-Men: First Class under his belt, Vaughn would be a prime pick to head up the next adventure of Superman for the DCEU.
