With the major box office haul of both The Conjuring 1 and 2, it's no surprise that we're getting a film that will feature the demonic nun from the sequel. Considering how well Annabelle did on a shoestring budget, we're sure to see a continued string of Conjuring projects including a third in the Ed and Lorraine Warren based films eventually.

Today, it's been announced that American Horror Story star Taissa Farmiga is set to take over the lead role in the upcoming spinoff to the successful Conjuring series. In the film, Farmiga will play The Nun opposite Demian Bichir under the direction of British writer/director Corin Hardy.
