Box Office: The Fate Of The Furious Continues Global Domination






The Fate and the Furious still has plenty of gas left in the tank, finishing in first place domestically and nearing $1 billion worldwide. The top three remained the same as from last weekend, with all of the newcomers underperforming. The Fate and the Furious dropped 61%, but still earned an estimated $38.6 million. It earned an estimated 163.4 million internationally, bringing its worldwide earnings thus far to $908.4 million. It should cross $1 billion some time this week. The Boss Baby finished second with an estimated $12.75 million and Beauty and the Beast finished third with an estimated $9.97 million. 

The best performance for the new releases was Born in China, which finished in fifth place with an estimated $5.1 million. Unforgettable finished in seventh place with an estimated $4.8 million. The Promise earned an estimated $4 million for ninth place. Outside of the top ten were Phoenix Forgotten with an estimated $2 million and Free Fire with an estimated $1.03 million.
