Videos: 10 Embarrassing Superhero Movies That MARVEL Had Nothing To Do With

This is a new video from Screen Rant that lists 10 superhero movies that Marvel had nothing to do with. As fans, we either have really good short term memory or choose not to remember that there have been bad Marvel movies. Most of these were made outside of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, produced by other studios who managed to royally screw things up. Some aren't too bad, some are downright terrible, and some are enjoyable because they are schlock. Check out the synopsis and video below.

"Whether you’re a fan or not, you have to admit that the Marvel Cinematic Universe is on fire right now. Ever since Iron Man first came out in 2008, fans have been living in a golden age of comic book films. From Avengers to Captain America: Civil War, it’s been one hit after the next for the Disney owned company. But outside of the MCU, things can get a bit dark. Sure, there are hits like Deadpool and Logan to prove to us that Fox can make ‘em just as good as the rest, but then there’s the rest...the garbage from a different studio who totally missed the mark. Most of these films came from the 2000s from before Marvel started the Avengers initiative and they’re honestly, not so great. From Ben Affleck’s portrayal of Daredevil to that film’s spinoff, Elektra with Jennifer Garner, Nicolas Cage overacting in the Ghost Rider sequel to whatever that jazz scene was in spider man 3. Seriously, what was up with that scene? Let’s not forget just about every version of the Fantastic Four, culminating with the 2015 version along with our favorite web swinger, who's on this list twice-yikes! It’s probably best we forgot about these films that were made by other studios but we’re going to make you remember them one last time."
