This is supposed to be the second film in a trilogy from Gilliam that focuses on trying to escape from society through the use of imagination; Time Bandits is through the eyes of a child, then Brazil is through the eyes of a thirty year old man, and third is The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen through the eyes of an elderly man.
