Daniel Craig came along and gave the Bond franchise the swift kick in the ass that it needed. With a more realistic vibe and a brand new look, his 007 took the series to new heights that forever changed the way we will watch these movies. His time as the character has been marked by greatness and a flawed Spectre. When that movie finished, Craig swore that he was done with the character and hadn't been happy being roped into playing the spy repeatedly. Yet, rumors persisted that if he were given a big enough paycheck, he would return for at least one more outing. Page Six is reporting that his time may be coming to an end.
Apparently, (producer) Barbara Broccoli is done waiting around for him to make up his mind, sources say. With Spectre two years in the past, it might be time to move on. She was just quoted as saying she's not waiting for the actor to "get off his arse". While Broccoli has numerous other projects in development, it is undoubtedly time for Craig to decide on the fate of James Bond and his time as the character. There are no active Bond projects in development, but with the way we're getting saturated with franchise films these days it's understandable that they want to get this franchise going again.
