News: Brandon Cronenberg Will Direct The Sci-Fi Thriller Dragon


 
Brandon Cronenberg, son of famed filmmaker David Cronenberg, has agreed to direct the epic sci-fi thriller Dragon. This will be the follow to his feature debut Antiviral. Originally reported by Variety, Cronenberg describes the project as being “like an adaptation of an imagined Philip K. Dick novel. . . [and it will explore] the pleasures of space horror in a satirical and at times psychotic universe.” He will co-write the script with Marvel Comics writer Dan Abnett, who was the creator of the 2008 version of the Guardians of the Galaxy.The movie will be produced by Luc Roeg’s Independent and Martin Katz’s Prospero Pictures. It is expected to shoot sometime in the middle of 2018. Check out the synopsis below.
