For years Hellboy fans have been wishing that Del Toro would direct a third movie with Ron Perlman back in the role. The first two films were impeccable masterpieces that mixed wit, action, and amazing visual effects. Sadly for us, Del Toro announced that a trilogy was not in the cards and he was giving up on it ever seeing the light of day.
Now, word has come down that our favorite hellspawn is being given a second chance at life. Director Neil Marshall (Dog Soldiers, Game of Thrones, The Descent) has been charged with bringing Hellboy back to life. The news tonight is that Stranger Things star David Harbour is being handed the starring role. While we'll miss Perlman, Harbour is actually a great pick to take on this project.
