News: J.J. Abrams And Jordan Peele Will Team Up For HBO's Lovecraft Country

J.J. Abrams and Jordan Peele are set to team up for the upcoming HBO TV series Lovecraft Country. Peele's Monkeypaw Productions and Abram's Bad Robot will be joined by Warner Bros Television on developing the one hour drama series, based upon the novel by Matt Ruff. Peele will serve as an executive producer, with Misha Green, Abrams, and Ben Stephenson. Green will be writing the pilot. The series is expected to be an anthology series that follows 25 year old Atticus Black:

"After his father goes missing, Black joins up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America to find him. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the malevolent spirits that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback."
