After the Karl Urban starring Dredd failed to drum up any money at the box office, the studio scrapped plans to make a sequel to the awesome action flick. For the past couple years fans have petitioned to get another movie to very little effect. Urban himself even rallied for another movie, knowing that he's been the best incarnation of the character to date. The previous Sylvester Stallone movie was a creative failure that bared almost no resemblance to the comic book series.
Now, IM Global and Rebellion have announced plans for the infamous Judge Dredd to make his way to the television screen. Judge Dredd: Mega City One is in the early stages of development with no cable channel attached quite yet. However, the producers behind the project are saying this will be a "big budget" production.
