News: Michael Rooker Reteaming With Henry Director

Michael Rooker is set to reunite with Henry: Portrait of a Serial Killer director John McNaughton on the adaptation of Flannery O'Connor's short story A Good Man is Hard to Find. The story was originally written in 1953 and appeared in so many different anthologies that it became O'Connor's best known work. It is about a murderous escaped prisoner called The Misfit and his group of escapees, who meet a family along the road. The story and its dark themes are similar in many ways to Henry, which was a true crime film loosely based upon the life of Henry Lee Lucas. The film garnered critical and cult status despite being hit with an X rating. The screenplay was written by Benedict Fitzgerald (The Passion of the Christ).
