This is the trailer for Batman and Harley Quinn.
The story will center around the unlikely team-up of Batman, Harley Quinn, and Nightwing in order to stop a global attack from Poison Ivy and the Plant-Master. Kevin Conroy (Batman: The Animated Series) and Melissa Rauch (Big Bang Theory) will voice the characters Batman and Harley Quinn, Loren Lester (Batman the Animated Series) will be Nightwing, and Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds) will be Poison Ivy. Lester spoke about the film with Empire recently, saying that:
"So many fans have asked when there will be another Batman: The Animated Series, and this film really captures that sensibility and essence that people loved about the original series. That makes perfect sense when you know Bruce Timm was at the helm of both. The difference is we're not restricted by the networks for this film, so we can take the story and characters in more mature areas, and explore more about them as three-dimensional human beings with human feelings and human desires that we often couldn’t explore in the series."
It will be released on VOD on August 15 and then the Ultra HD Blu-ray Combo Pack, Blu-ray Deluxe Giftset, Blu-ray Combo Pack and DVD versions will be released on August 29. Check out the synopsis and trailer below.
