This is a teaser trailer for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance.
The prequel series to the 1982 film will air on Netflix and is set to shoot in the Fall, but Netflix has released a teaser ahead of that to show the pre-production work. The series will consist of ten episodes and occur many years before the original film. The effects will be created incorporating "an ensemble of fantastical, state-of-the-art creatures created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop and Brian Froud, the original feature’s conceptual designer." Louis Leterrier will direct and serve as an executive producer. Cindy Holland, Vice President of Original Content for Netflix, said that:
