This is a new video from WhatCulture that lists 8 classic movies that were released unfinished. There are so many darn versions of films now that it is difficult to tell whether the theatrical release was the actual finished product. It seems that studios and filmmakers intentionally plan on releasing multiple versions of the film, at least one theatrically and then an alternate version on DVD or Blu-ray. Whether this means that the alternate version was the director's original intent is another question entirely. These are several movies that for whatever reason were released unfinished.
