News: Bruce Willis/Eli Roth Death Wish Remake Gets A Release Date

Back in 1974, the Charles Bronson vengeance flick Death Wish came along and forever changed the landscape of motion pictures. It was a dark feature that turned the revenge saga into a string of sequels that featured rape, murder, and gangland warfare.

Years later, Eli Roth has returned to the directorial chair to reboot the story of Paul Kersey and his quest for payback. Who knows if this will be anywhere near the original but Roth's penchant for gore and violence will definitely suit the movie.

With a starring cast that features Bruce Willis in the starring role, Vincent D'Onofrio, Elisabeth Shue, and Mike Epps, production house Annapurna is ready to get this thing into theaters. They've officially set a release for Wednesday November 22, 2017 which will hit directly before Thanksgiving. Strange placement for a movie that's about people being shot to death. Either way, we can't wait to see where they go with this. Some remakes can be decent if they have the right cast and director behind them.
