Shudder has acquired the North American and UK/Ireland distribution rights for the wild thriller Kuso, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Kuso is the feature length debut of Steve Ellison, who is better known as Flying Lotus. It was co-written by David Firth and Zach Fox and is from Brainfeeder Films. It stars Anders Holm, Hannibal Buress, Tim Heidecker, George Clinton, Iesha Costa, and Zach Fox, among others. It will be available on Shudder on July 21, 2017 and will also be released in New York and Los Angeles on the same date. Shudder's GM said that:
“Kuso pushes the boundaries of filmmaking and we’re delighted to be working with Steve on this highly unique film, as Shudder continues it’s commitment to bringing new and innovative programming to its community.”
