The show will feature Eme Ikwuakor as Gorgon, Ken Leung as Karnak, Anson Mount as Black Bolt, Serinda Swan as Medusa, Isabelle Cornish as Crystal, and Iwan Rheon as Maximus. The synopsis for the show is as follows:
“After the Royal Family of Inhumans is splintered by a military coup, they barely escape to Hawaii where their surprising interactions with the lush world and humanity around them may prove to not only save them, but Earth itself.”

It will debut in IMAX theaters on September 1, 2017 and then air on ABC beginning September 29, 2017. Showrunner Scott Buck recently discussed the benefits of the IMAX screenings and tone of the show, saying that:

There will be plenty of humor and fantastic elements, but we're dealing with relatable people in a moment of great crisis: a royal family forced into the position of refugees.
