Trailers: The Hatchet Franchise Is Back With Victor Crowley

This is a trailer for Victor Crowley.

Dark Sky Films and director Adam Green were set to have a 10th anniversary screening of Hatchet last night at Hollywood's ArcLight Cinema, only to reveal that they had secretly filmed a sequel/reboot titled Victor Crowley. It will be set a decade after the first three films and has Hatchet stars Kane Hodder (Friday the 13th part 7 through X) and Parry Shen (Better Luck Tomorrow) returning, with Laura Ortiz (The Hills Have Eyes), Dave Sheridan (Scary Movie), and Brian Quinn (Impractical Jokers) also starring. It will be in select theaters in October for one-night screenings with the cast and director as part of a Victor Crowley Road Show. Check out the synopsis and trailer below.

"In 2007, forty-nine people were brutally torn to pieces in Louisiana’s Honey Island Swamp. Over the past decade, lone survivor Andrew Yong’s claims that local legend Victor Crowley was responsible for the horrific massacre have been met with great controversy, but when a twist of fate puts him back at the scene of the tragedy, Crowley is mistakenly resurrected and Yong must face the bloodthirsty ghost from his past."
