Videos: A New Clip For Jung Byung-gil’s Actioner The Villainess

 
 
This is a trailer for the Korean action film The Villainess, which premiered out of competition at Cannes. It was directed by Jung Byung-gil (Confession of Murder), and stars Kim Ok-bin (Thirst), Shin Ha-kyun (Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance), Sung Joon, and Kim Seo-hyung. The press package from Cannes describes it as “never before seen action sequences.” They sought to do this by providing “Peerless, Referenceless Action. Action That Is Never Boring. [And]Genderless, Powerful Action.” It will be released in select theaters by Well Go USA on August 25, 2017. Checkout the synopsis and trailer below.

 
“From an early age, Sook-hee has received trainings to become an assassin.
