Box Office News: Princess of the Box Office: Wonder Woman To Enter The Top 20 Highest Grossing Domestic Films

Patty Jenkins' Wonder Woman has been quite the cinematic conqueror. Several months into its theatrical release, the DC film is about to enter the coveted top 20 domestic box office totals of all time. Only Iron Man 3 stands in her way. But if the superhero flick can make just a little bit more on Labor Day, Tony Stark stands to lose his spot. 

While it still continues to rack up even more money, the domestic cumulative total now sits well over $400 million with foreign sales helping it to topple the $800 million mark. This also pushes the DCEU universe over $3 billion in ticket sales with only four movies in release. Considering the divisive fan reaction to each entry, this is a huge accomplishment. 

Wonder Woman has officially knocked Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier from its place and is definitely securing the DCEU's rightful place at the box office.
