This is a new poster Netflix has released for Stranger Things that pays tribute to the 1981 Sam Raimi horror film The Evil Dead. It is another poster in a series of tribute posters that have been released, which pay homage to various films that influenced the first season of the show. So far they have released posters that pay homage to Stand by Me, Firestarter, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Running Man and Alien. The new season will premiere on Netflix on the October 27, 2017. Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer, and Charlie Heaton are confirmed to return this season. They will be joined by Paul Reiser, Brett Gelman, Linnea Berthelsen, Dacre Montgomery, Will Chase, Rob Morgan, and Sadie Sink. Below are both posters side-by-side.
