News: Aidan Gillen And Tom Hollander Join Cast Of Queen Biopic Bohemian Rhapsody



Aidan Gillen and Tom Hollander have joined the cast of the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody has cast Aidan Gillen and Tom Hollander. Gillen (Game of Thrones) will play John Reid, who was Queen’s manager from 1975 to 1978. Hollander (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and Dead Man's Chest) will play Jim Beach, who took over as their manager from in 1978.

The members of the iconic rock band are being played by Ben Hardy, Gwilym Lee, and Joe Mazzello, and Rami Malek as Freddy Mercury. Hardy (X-Men: Apocalypse) will play drummer Roger Taylor, Lee (The Hollow Crown) will be lead guitarist Brian May, and Mazzello (The Social Network) will portray bass guitarist John Deacon. The cast also includes Lucy Boynton, Aaron McCusker, Allen Leech, and Mike Myers. Bryan Singer (the X-Men franchise) will direct from a script written by Justin Haythe. Graham King, Singer, and Jim Beach are producing, with Denis O’Sullivan, Arnon Milchan, and Jane Rosenthal serving as executive producers. The film is currently shooting and is scheduled to be released on December 25, 2018.
