After years and years of terrible on screen translations and the dismal failure of The Dark Tower, Stephen King is once again becoming the go to guy for movies. With the success of IT blowing up the box office last weekend, setting massive records for a horror film based on original content, it looks like we may finally start getting the King movies we deserve. The second chapter of IT is currently in the planning phases and the author himself is taking back control of his most popular books.
With all that said, it's just been announced that a short story by the mastermind is getting the screen treatment. His Suffer the Little Children is now being reworked as a full film screenplay. The project is being overseen by up and coming director, Sean Carter who just finished work on his freshman horror release, Keep Watching.
