With an extremely limited theatrical run, the tale of a youthful Steven Patrick Morrissey didn't quite get the cinematic support many had expected. Considering the icon's cult status, a full domestic release was never even announced.
Using a very small art house run, the motion picture which has received a varied critical response is already being scheduled for a blu-ray release by Cleopatra Entertainment/MVD on December 12. The film will also be released in the UK by Twentieth Century Home Entertainment.
England is Mine is the story of the young Morrissey as he deals with his teen years and begins his musical journey with guitar mastermind, Johnny Marr. The movie is directed by Mark Gill.
