News: Indie Horror Slasher Pitchfork Gets A Comic Book

The indie slasher film Pitchfork is venturing into the realm of comics.

The comic continues the story after the events of the film, looking at what happened after we last saw the characters Ma and Pa in the basement. The comic was co-written by director Glenn Douglas Packard and the actor that played Pa Andrew Dawe-Collins, with artwork also from Dawe-Collins. You can purchase the comic here. Check out several pages from the comic below.

The director's edition DVD and Blu-ray is currently available to purchase on Amazon. Extras on the DVD and BD include ‘Behind the scenes: the Making of Pitchfork’ featurette, ‘Becoming Pitchfork: Making of a Monster’ featurette, deleted scenes, bloopers, outtakes, teaser & trailer, and audition tapes. We previously reviewed Pitchfork and highly recommend it. You can read our review here.

"Having recently shared a life-changing secret with his family, Hunter recruits his friends to come with him from New York to the farm where he grew up as he faces his parents for the first time. As the college students enjoy the fresh air of Michigan farm country, an older, more dangerous secret slowly emerges. While Hunter navigates a new place within his conservative family, a vicious creature from their past descends on the farm, putting the unsuspecting city kids in mortal danger."
