The noir thriller You Were Never Really Here now has an official US release date. The film was written and directed by Lynne Ramsay, based on the novella of the same name by Jonathan Ames. It stars Joaquin Phoenix, Ekaterina Samsonov, Alex Manette, John Doman and Judith Roberts. Premiering at Cannes, it went on to win the best screenplay and best actor award for Joaquin Phoenix. It is scheduled to be released internationally on November 9th, with Amazon Studio releasing it domestically in select theaters on February 23, 2018.
