[Boston Underground Film Festival] Short Films: It Began Without Warning (2017) - Reviewed

It Began Without Warning is a short film that will be screened with Let the Corpses Tan at the Boston Underground Film Festival

Jessica Curtright and Santiago C. Tapia's It Began Without Warning is a familial macabre. Taking place within a small apartment, the film explores a brutal confrontation between parents and children, however the origins of the carnage are not what they initially seem to be. Featuring inventive camerawork, unrelenting violence, and a wonderfully deceptive storyline, this is an excellent initial entry in a universe that begs to be explored.
