It is the first feature film from Bad Taste Pictures and was written and directed by Kris Carr & Sam Fowler, and stars Megan Purvis, Samuel Freeman, Hannah Louise Howell, Benjamin Sarpong-Broni, Kim Spearman, Martin Thomas, and David Patrick Stucky.
Despite many people advising against it, Sam, Kris & producer Charlie Pride set out to make a feature film immediately after graduating from University, and not stop until it was finished. Their ambition was to follow in the footsteps of some of their biggest filmmaking influences, directors such as Sam Raimi, Robert Rodriguez, Edgar Wright and Peter Jackson. These directors all made feature length movies when they were young and unproven, and they wanted to do the same. In fact, they named their production company BAD TASTE PICTURES after Peter Jackson’s debut movie.
They achieved this by enlisting the help of thirty of their fellow film school graduates as crew, enduring weeks of filming in freezing temperatures, torrential rain, an actual tornado in Snowdonia and relentless snow in the French Alps, blowing-up two cars (on film) in the process.
