News: Netflix Acquires Stephen King & Joe Hill Novella In The Tall Grass - Helmed By Cube Director Vincenzo Natali
Netflix continues to mine for Stephen King gold by acquiring In The Tall Grass, a novella written by Stephen King and his son and fellow bestselling horror author Joe Hill. James Marsden is currently in negotiations to star, with Vincenzo Natali (Cube, Splice) is directing.
. The story involves a sister and brother who venture into a vast field of grass in Kansas, when they hear someone's cries, but they soon discover that there may be no way out.
The film will be produced by Splice‘s Steve Hoban, Jimmy Miller at Mosaic, and M. Riley. Miller and Riley produced The Lazarus Effect. It will begin production in Toronto sometime this Summer. This will be the third Netflix film with the King, following Gerald’s Game and 1922.
